Steve, have a great time there, break them all, take tons of pics and please check out the data of the best arrow they' ll use there.

Thanks Guys, I appreciate the well wishes. Leaving tonight and should be back with some pics on monday. I am bringing the 100# osage for James Chavez to shoot in the broadhead. Other than that I only have one I am feeling pretty good about. If I can get good arrow flight I should be able to top the 400 yard mark this year.

Well the lake was wet when I got there but the weather was great. I set a record in the 50# simple comp broadhead class I had been chasing for about the past 9 years. I moved it from 227 yards to 231 yards very close.

The interesting part was with my little flight bow. I am getting better speeds out of it than any other flight bow I ever built but could get any distance because of arrow tuning, a little girl with a 20# long bow beat me in one round. I did manage to get it out to about 330 yards in the last round using better matched arrows but I know the bow has over 400 yards in it. I plan to shoot it agin next year after refining the arrow pass and finding out which arrows shoot best out of it. I presently hold that record in the 50# simple comp with 341 yards but I know it is easily beatable.

I wish more of you guys would give it a try, all the records are beatable.

James the shooter had an inury and wasn't able to get the bow back all the way. We remeasured the weight at about 112#@28" 60" long. Maybe next year we can get a proper shot off.

We had an archer there from Hungary named Joseph who also brole a couple of primitive records in the unlimited division. Powerful archer with good form and tecnique. He came very close to 400 yards with a flight arrow in the unlimited division, and close to 300 yards with a complex composite in the broadhead division. I don't know exact yardages at this point.

That's the problem with heavy bows, not everyone can pull them. Maybe next year James can have a go at it with that Osage bow or maybe someone else will show up that can shoot it. Good go with the records
