Wifes new osage

This is a stave from a tree off my grandparents farm. It has a few knots that made tiller a challenge and a crazy knot hole I made the handle around. 60"ntn pulling 38# at her 26"draw fast shooting lil bow had to work lots of prop twist out, and the big knot towards the top was a challenge. She loves it though!

Looks good to me my friend!  Love seeing the ladies drawing bows, too!  Like the fletching.  She is a lefty, huh!

Nicely done, looks like it was a tough stave to work through. The Mrs. Wildman has real good archery form drawing that back and keeping her string arm in line. bet she could out shoot quite a few of us. :)

  Wildman, +1 on what Greg said...I like them stiff outers, makes them a little quicker in my opinion...I need to know one thing though, looking at your wife's form, who's the best shot? Tell the truth  ;)

Thanks for all the good input, means a lot coming from you guys. One of the most challenging staves I have worked yet lot of gradual heat and weights. Steve they are goose fletching seems there was a massive die out of snow geese both times I went to Ar. this year. She had great natural form took to shooting like the proverbial duck, I would never admit to her out shooting me!!! but she is good. Simson it is for sure a girl bow, named it Knotty Gurl  haha. I had to drill two tiny holes as the knot was cracking a bit. Drilled and filled with super glue and that stopped it. The knots on both ends pretty well forced me to leave the tips a bit stiff, which helped the lower weight make up, its 38# but quick.
