Is mulberry worth harvesting in any quantity?

It is lying next to Osage but fresher.  Huge tree.  Is it worth getting given a 1/2mile hike to get to?

Who would want some?

Only used one stave of the stuff. I prefer osage or black locust, but it's definitely worth some leg work ;)

Mulberry is good stuff and can make very good bows. I've made quite a few over the years and liked it very much.

The berries are a blackish purple.  Wood is a light orange.  Ok then I'll get a little more.  It it's near some downed Osage of different ages.  Probably will focus on the sage.  But I'll get some.  I know mulberry was the traditional core of the ancient horse bows.
