For me it definitely is! During the Fall Winter and Spring I was making bows, strings, arrows, and experimenting with different things. Now that it's Summer I have not messed with primitive archery much and my hut is even getting a lot of cobwebs in it. For me it's mostly because of the muggy weather and the mosquitoes. It seems like there's never a time when the mosquitoes aren't out in the woods. I helped a friend with his first bow and just being outside got us sweating like a couple of pigs. Work gets a lot busier for me during the Summer as well, plus all this video editing I'm doing has me focused on wildlife so I'm excited to share that with y'all. However, I'll likely tinker around with some arrows and shoot some in the evening just to keep practiced but more than likely I won't be making any bows, or any of that primitive stuff until Fall. Therefore, I'll probably be gone from the forum until then but come Winter time I hope to have a post in the hunting section. I've already applied for the sambar deer hunt on st. vincent island and I'll apply for some local small games hunts so I can shoot pigs during those. It'll be my first hunting season and I know I'm super green but I'm excited and hopeful. If I can make a kill y'all will be the first to hear about it! Anyway, I'll see y'all in the Fall! I'll be in the water all summer!
Do y'all experience similar patterns with your primitive archery?
I hate to make a thread and not leave a picture
