Hi all,

I posted a new thread under the 2014 hunting pics titled "Made meat -  and a pie" for those interested.

That got me thinking, Why isn't there a separate place dedicated to cooking the harvest???

Maybe I will, if there's enough interest.

Marc, it is a safe bet everyone on this forum, from time to time, sits down to a meal.  From that statement, it isn't a great leap of logic to claim it's something we are all interested in reading and contributing on!  AHHHH, from bow porn to food porn! Pity we can't post aromatic samples online, hehe!

Well JW there have been threads started about favorite recipes and they didn't generate several pages of discussion.  We'll see how the response to this thread goes

I'm always interested in pie... ;D
I made a lemon panna cotta yesterday! ... ooooh lah de dah
Well, me & Mrs Cat had been baking wedding cakes all week (3 off at 12" square!) for my daughter's wedding in August. We had to put in a lot of lemon rind... so there were lemons left over.
G&T anyone? :)

Whats not to love about biscuits and gravy especially with a side of venison and fried potatoes.  That's some good lovin there.

Dang kids and their newfangled ways.  WE used to just foller the lions all day and snatch what we could when they wasn't a-lookin'!

This has come up quite a bit over the past 8 years I've been here. Glad to see it added :D Wonder if it would be a better fit around the campfire? Just my two cents, take it or leave it. Thank you Marc for putting it in place :)
