elm id?

I read mixed reviews about siberian elm.I'm not sure of the species I have been harvesting.so of the leaves are asemtrical but most are not.this maybe,slippery,red ,white or siberian?any help would be great!thx's rob! This stuff dulls my chainsaw like nothing I've ever cut before and it's a bear to split!

I don't know where you are, but it doesn't look like American - Ulmus americana or slippery - U. rubra.  It looks like what I've heard called Chinese elm, an ornamental.

Elm's can be tuff to id to the correct species - almost need the fruit to distinguish between some of the species.  Some species will hybridize making it even more difficult.  But as PD said - looks like good elm to me.  Just as well dry some out and give it a try.
