Awesome bow Alan, graceful lines to it! :) Also the story behind it is cool, did he like it? You do nice work with these black locusts your using, keep it up mate!

Rich, I did heat in a bit of reflex but no other bending other than that.

Alex, yeah he liked it a lot and it was a total surprise. He had seen me working on it but didn't know it was for him.

Fine bow - I'd like to try that locust some time. Still like that cabin ;).

that's a well tillered bow - really like the unbraced profile: just a straight line, not set! the peep-hole is cool, too!
i personally don't like the edge on the overlay; i would always work that down to a nice transition. but i guess that's more or less a personal taste...
again: really nice bow!

Frank, yeah I usually like to get the transition a little smoother too but these little spikes were pretty small so I didn't have as much to work with as usual.
