eastern red cedar question
«

Im making a sinew backed ERC short bow.
I really want the sapwood / heart wood color combo on the finished
bow.
I've read ERC likes alot of sapwood, compared to yew, which I usually
make 3/16 -1/4".
Whats recommended? Cheers

With a sinew back a little or a lot doesn't matter.

Make it aesthetically pleasing. The sinew should hold it together.
