Nc, I just made another point out of a pc I mined at Nethers Farm and it had everything going on, great colors, crystals, fossil holes, I could not get it as thin as I like but came out pretty good for all the problems in it, I could of used a little more heat on it, One tuff grainy son of a gun. Still thinking of reheat now that I have it thinned down, Like Bonepile says " It's a love hate relationship with Ridge Material" Love the colors , hate inclusion and dry grainy spots. Hope ya can get some and see for yourself. Bob

Call it whatever ya like Bob, that's a nice looking point! That's one quarry I doubt I'll ever make it to :(. About as likely as me finding some hixton in tx ::).

Nice flaking Bob!   I like Flintridge too its amazing stuff and theres so many different colors and patterns.  I too have knapped some riddled with holes fossils and crystal pockets.  If u can keep it together it makes a great point with character!  Im hoping to hit the knapp in at flint ridge this year right after Letchworth!
