leaf prints on fabric
« on: May 28, 2014, 10:52:23 pm »
My girlfriend has been experimenting with leaf prints on fabric. Basically, you put some leaves on fabric, roll it up, dunk it in various potions ...and...voila... a leaf print. she's incorporating this into scarves and clothing- like my new custom cammo hunting shirt. The pic below shows a eucalyptus leaf on knitted silk.  Could this be a business opportunity?

Do the colors stay after washing the fabric?
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

the fabric has been treated so the colors will stay. Keep in mind all colors do fade with repeated washings.

I want one now that I've seen it! That's a really slick idea.
