You got it, Leroy, about 40 miles north of Edmonton . It was minus forty with a wind chill of -58. Too cold for this Cracker. Two weeks after that I was 100kms north of Flim Flom in Manitoba.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Sweet smoke stack A-a-ron.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

And then there was that one day when I forgot to take my bow to work at Mt Rushmore.  What was a guy to do but look chagrinned?

Now THAT just gets my goat!

The one on the right with the radio collar is a famous old gal, known as #9.  She has been known to charge visitors at Mt Rushmore when she has a kid with her.  She boldly walks around on the developed grounds and takes no guff off anyone.  When she has a kid in the spring, sometimes they have to assign a park employee to follow her around and keep people back from her.  She's an absolute terror!

When she was trapped to be radio collared, she got her reputation for being a bit testy.  They slip 6" pieces of garden hose over the horns to prevent her from goring the techs.  Well, she wrastled her way loose before they got the hoses off and wore them around the park for years!!!

My is handle SLIMBOB.  I go by SLIMBOB, well to my friends anyhow.  My mother and my wife call me by my Christian name Robert.  Everyone else it's Rob, Bob, Slim or SLIMBOB.  Confusing I know, but it fits with my ADD quite well.  Proud Texan, proud American.  I live in the Texas Hillcountry, little spot in the road called Welfare, near Boerne.  Husband to Deb, and 54 year old father of an 8 year old boy Jake.  Love makin' bows!  Hope to get good at it one day.

Nice Cammando Mullet, I had a '69 once. Here is me not cutting my hair or beard for support for my aunt as she was going through Chemo. And another of Tyke and me after some (Gallon) Sangria.
