I plane to have cut and split 1000 Osage staves before i PCS to Ft Campbell..
When you get to Ft. Campbell...come visit us at Twin Oaks, a large percentage of Clarksvilles population is due to Ft. Campbell.

Help finish a bow to auction during the Tn. Classic.
Complete a Ryano recurve with a "good" outcome this time. :)
Sinew back an osage bow.
Make a bow out of a dogwood stave I have.
Cut some elm to have for future bow projects (haven't used elm yet).
Rough in staves for the Tn. Classic.
Finish making strings for the Tn. Classic (about 1/4 of the way there now).
Make a character bow of some type.

I can see the world supply of primitive bows should be increasing by leaps and bounds. Not to mention the supply of overweight crossbows.    Ron

Oh yea, that one too. I have even been building antler wedges to split it out.

I heard a tail About Welsh Bowmen able to shoot through a oak door. So make an oak door and a bow and arrows to do that. A yew crossbow for my Dad. A Viking longbow for Step Dad. A hunting bow for me learn to shoot Howard Hill Style. Joel
