Dang, was that her first bow? Very good job! That's a great tiller!
"The way of heaven is like the bending of a bow-
the upper part is pressed down,
the lower part is raised up,
the part that has too much is reduced,
the part that has too little is increased."

the bow is 56" NTN, #18 @ 21". Made out of Twin Oaks Hickory and has black & red action wood tips overlays
Thought I would show yall a bow Megan, one of our kids at TwinOaks built over the last few weeks,I will say she had a little help along the way but done most of it herself. I though when she started it would be us building her a bow but it didn't turn out that way. She really took hold and stayed hard at it. Nice Hickory longbow
and she came up with the ideas on dressing it up. Hope you enjoy,we love our kids,it's our future. :) :) I will let her come in on the specs of the bow.

How many of us wish our first bows turned out as well tillered as Megan's first?

*raising my hand slowly and sheepishly*

Well done, Miss Megan!  Good work, keep it up!

Congrats on that pretty bow. I had the pleasure to meet you in the knapping pit and look at the points you were making. You have a bright future ahead.
