Megan's bow
« on: May 08, 2014, 06:23:03 am »
Thought I would show yall a bow Megan, one of our kids at TwinOaks built over the last few weeks,I will say she had a little help along the way but done most of it herself. I though when she started it would be us building her a bow but it didn't turn out that way. She really took hold and stayed hard at it. Nice Hickory longbow
and she came up with the ideas on dressing it up. Hope you enjoy,we love our kids,it's our future. :) :) I will let her come in on the specs of the bow.

Very nice bow, she should get a lot of enjoyment from shooting one she helped make.

GREAT looking stick, Megan!
Granddaughter was standing behind when I was reading this.  'Bout an hour later she came out to the garage . . . "Gramps, ya think I could make one those bows?"
These kids make additions to the project list faster than a certain gramps can complete 'em!

I've seen a lot of impressive bows from the Twin Oaks folks but that one is truly special! Good job!
