Primitive archery in SE Australia?
« on: March 27, 2011, 09:41:09 am »
I've been interested in primitive archery since doing archery in high school. We used fibreglass recurves on the school football oval. Since then, I've shot recurves and a compound, as well as a short foray into the world of crossbows. Now, as a forty-something, I feel the pull of traditional hunting. I live in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, and while there are a few archery clubs, they are mostly focussed around competition target or compound 3D. If anyone knows of a traditional-based club in the outer east of Melbourne, I would love to hear from you. Thanks.
If we were meant to use fibreglass bows, there would be fibreglass trees....
