Almost done with a new Hickory board bow. But where I live almost all the hickory sold is pecan...hence the term p'hickeron.
Its 64" NTN, 2"at the fades tapered evenly to 1/2" flipped tips. Pulls about 50ish. Nice and quick, a real smooth shooter. Pics soon.

here's a bad pic, I know it kinda looks like there's a hinge on the top limb, but I swear it's an illusion

Thanks y'all! It's a sweet shooter for sure and pulling at least 55. I was shaking by the time my wife snapped that pic I'll re-do the overlays, put a touch more bend in the tips, smooth out all the roughness and round off the fades. Then I'll do a furniature wax finish and a leather handle

What! A man has to work hard to break a hickory bow! Sorry about the luck.

Yep...gave me no warning at all. Not even a creak. Just a smooth draw that kept on going. It split all the way from fade to tip on the top limb
