What should I bring to the classic
« on: April 23, 2014, 11:30:05 pm »
Of course archery stuff, raw materials to trade and bedding stuff and food but is there anything else I should bring?  I feel like there's going to be something that I'm just going to totally forget.  Any help would be much appreciated.  I'm planning to go cut some wood to bring up there and trade tomorrow.
Florida to Kwajalein to Turkey and back in Florida again.  Good to be home but man was that an adventure!

Rain gear if nothing else

I usually have so much fun that I don't notice the rain unless things start floating by ;D

A note pad and pencil to write down all the people from PA you meet.

An extra pair of underwear to wear while you are washing the dirty pair out in the sink.

Pappy beat me to it...shoes!  Ha!   ;D

Ticks and rain are the big contenders.

Looking forward to meeting you, Tim.

I always keep a pen and journal in my backpack.  Normally I just record my camping trips but I suppose I can write other things in it.

Lol, shoes?  I don't think anyone around here will trade me staves for shoes.  Hmm, I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.  Besides, the weather is going to be so nice!  Sunny and highs in the 70s with lows in the 40s is what I'm predicting :)  I think you guys worry too much  >:D

How prevalent is lime disease in that region?  :'(

Not very Tim,I have spray and it's not a bad idea to use some, mostly what we call seed ticks are the bigger problem. Kind of like chiggers. If you stay on the trails and around the cabin/work shop they aren't a problem,if you are rambling through the brush and weeds looking for arrows then they can be.Bad news is you never get just one. :o I like the way to think on the weather Tim. ;) :)
