Thumb slap question
« on: April 05, 2014, 06:36:29 pm »
I just got a new selfbow, shot it today and was getting slapped on the base of the thumb, didnt have my guard, but not sure if that would have helped seeing that it was hitting the joint where the thumb meets the wrist...any thoughts?

How high is the brace height? Can you post a pic of the bow at brace?

Raise the brace height to about 6" and try it.

Does your string have a loop on both ends or a bowyers knot on the bottom?
