Del's Dimaryp bow

These bows were made by a little known Celtic sect who didn't believe that front profile had any bearing on the tiller shape of a bow.
The only remaining bow from the sect was unearther by a Mr D Cat on one of his night time expeditions on April the first.
It's a mere 23" long about 10mm wide at the grip and 20mm wide at the tips.

You can store that thing in your wallet when you come over, Dell.  ;)  Cool looking bow. Is it shocky with the wider tips?...or can you even tell with that small of a bow?

It's only on a taut string, not actually braced, so I don't know.
I only threw it together in a few minutes from an off-cut of Ash lamination. I'll have to try and get it strung and bring it over :laugh:
I can probably squeeze it in there with the other bows :laugh:

I've made a string (a tad too long) putting it at a low brace and pulling to 4.5#
I actually shot a 273 gn arrow from it and it stuck in the back stop :laugh:
Trying to make tiny strings is no fun >:(

That's a good one Del. I have in my possession a whole bunch of bows made by some hick who didn't know you couldn't tiller a bow with a belt sander!

I don't always laugh out loud reading a PA post.  But when I do... it's something Del said.  Nice bow and refreshing bit of humour (english spelling for present company) first thing in the morning.   ;D
