Cool points. I hope to be able to do that kind of work someday. Cowboy sent me a box of Georgetown flint that I gotta get heat treated. I pecked around on it when I first got it, but just made smaller rocks. Can't wait to get started in earnest. I got a knapping DVD for Christmas and a book from Horsefeathers, but still don't have all the right tools. Sand stone is easy to find here, but hammer stones are a little harder to come by. Little copper caps for little nibbling billets are easy to find at Home Depot and Lowe's, but the big copper caps are harder to find.
Any suggestions? I've got some antler, but nothing very big.
