First foray into knife making- Mora rehandle

found this knife in the bottom of the club bucket, had a rough-hewn red cedar handle that was cracking and the blade wasn't looking too pretty either, so I decided I wanted to clean it up. It was a hard time getting the surfaces flat, as I don't have a belt sander and had to do all the sanding by hand. Never again!

Anyway, whipped up an ugly sheath for it out of the case for my dad's slide rule from high school  . One side is yew, the other red cedar, and an end piece of walnut because I took a little too much off the back for my liking initially. Glue lines are sloppy, and got a crack on the bottom (strange since I dried both pieces of wood in my school's wood kiln for a weekend), but she's relatively pretty. Now all I need to do is get it sharpened

It's about how the tool fits the worker's hand and whether the tool is sharp!  I see a good tool!

Mora is not bad steel, not bad at all!
