« on: March 22, 2014, 01:04:17 pm »
finished up the Andaman I posted  the other day 62- 50 @28 walnut and rock maple bloodwood tips. wish I could have got a little more bend near the fades but I ran very thin on walnut and didn't want to narrow it any.

Very nice, efficient looking bow, well done.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Very impressive bow. I like everything you've done with it... clean lines, nice design, good tiller, nice finish work, and impressive performance. Well done! How wide is it at the fades?

Nice bow.  Smooth and fast all around.

thanks every one ADB its a full 3" at the fades. I am happy with the performance ,thought the walnut was the wrong wood but I had some that was long enough and wide enough so I used it.it is kind of strange to me that the bow likes a lighter arrow apposed to a heavier one. it shoots right where I look with zero hand shock and is really light in the hand for it size. I was putting the last coat of finish on it the other day and my better half walked up behind me bringing me a cup of coffee.scared me so bad I dropped the bow on the concrete patio and it bounced around like a pogo stick for 10 seconds I was about afraid to pick it up and look at it.all well after clean up and refinish.gonna have to do another though the grandson has already tried to claim it.thanks again.
