Well you see bub, it was a lot easier to talk trash months ago. Now that ill see him in a few days I nominated Greg (badly bent) to shoot for me.  We talked on the phone today and he said like to represent short bows at Marshall ::)

Ha! I'm fully prepared....... to be smoked on the range that is. Us short bow guys are desperate if I'm the choice to take on anyone in a shooting match. Best I can hope for is to nail one or two of Dan's nocks. :D
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

Looks like your gang is having a great time with dad in his workshop!
"The bow is the old first lyre,
the mono chord, the initial rune of fine art
The humanities grew out from archery as a flower from a seed
No sooner did the soft, sweet note of the bow-string charm the ear of genius than music was born, and from music came poetry and painting and..." Maurice Thompso

Thursday mid morning we started to work on the bow up at the marshall shoot in Michigan(as derrick says..its a gooder)

first thing was to rough shape and cut some grooves in the tips to get a long string on it

osage outlaw, danznbar, pearl drums,n paulsemp showed up a lil later to join in on the bowyery fun!!!

my battery died sat and so I didn't get any pics, but she got it shooting sat night after dark and took the first shots...I know guy and cody snapped some so hopefully ill get those from them

but I was able to get the battery charged for sunday...and here she is shaping the handle down so she can go shoot the course with it

the peanut fell asleep just after she finished shaping it up in mommys lap...so while she was napping I glued and shaped a cork rest on it for her

FINALLY!!!!! REAPING THE BENEFITS OF ALL HER HARD WORK!!! YAY!!!! IM SOOOOOO PROUD OF HER!!!

she ten ringed one of the targets with it  ;D  8)

THANKS A BUNCH TO ALL WHO HAVE FOLLOWED ALONG SO FAR  :D....as soon as its all finished and dressed up we'll take some runway shots and post the final product of all her hard work

And a great cheer rose up from the ranks of the folks that post on P.A.!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

Glad to see she got to shoot it on the range.  It was fun watching you two work on it together.  I can't wait to see the final pictures of it all finished up.
