I got into making bows in the first place because of a ruptured acl.....if i'd never done it it's unlikely i'd ever have made a bow. :)
So good and bad and all that!
Have you had a reconstruction done on it? Hamstring, patella tendon??
That maple is flat out beautiful.... :)

I hear ya Mike,
I have so much time right now I don't no which way to tune. Working on this maple bow, hazelnut bow and a few others that can use some tuning up, made 4 new strings, new ones that need the draw-knife put to them, arrows need to be made.. I'm freaking out.  I keep packing tools in from the shop out back no heat and still a bit chilly out. The living room is starting to look like a bow shop,.
Just saw the Dr. yesterday still waiting for a MRI..

Hey Chuck,
Had to come and look for the banjos you mentioned on my post. They look great! I'm kicking myself for not ordering Foxfire 3 when I ordered 1 & 5 haha.
If the ppl ever allow private banks to control their currency, 1st by inflation, then by deflation, the banks & corporations that will grow up around (these banks) will deprive the ppl of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. Thomas Jefferson
