Could anyone help me with some good dimensions for youth long bows made from hickory? I am guessing 15 lb would be a good all around weight?

How tall is the child ? I have made up a few for the Classic and they vary from 56 to 60 in lenght, about 1inch athe the fads tappered to 3/8 at the tips,3 inch handle section and 1 inch fads. I usually make them about the hight of the child.  :)

like Pappy said, and I would go with a pyramid profile and an even taper on the thickness, if you work it down to about 3/8" thick that is a good starting point
