there ya go, have a look and see if it helps you out with fire heat treating. I've done a few buckets worth or rock like this in the last 2 years, little bit of a learning curve but this is how I've found it works best for FL chert, cora, texas cherts and jaspers

Well done twistedlimbs. Spreading the coals to the outer edges is a good idea.

It is really good to see your work, I think a lot lot of people will be inspired by your sharing. Not everyone can afford a kiln and this is a great way to cook stone. I was wondering if you write all of the dialogue

Very well done.  Excellent job with the clarity of the dialogue.  I didn't even recognize your voice at first!

thanks guys. Yeah I have had a lot of practice at this over the last few years. I actually prefer fire cooked stone over kiln cooked. I think it works better.  Abo tools tend to like stone that is heated a little hotter.   I did write the dialogue myself and tried to narrate so it wasn't so boring, but I can look back and see that I sound more like a monotone professor! lol  I need to try to sound a little more excited on the next video..lol   thanks for watching it everyone
