Wish I could help Pappy.  Unfortunately, I'm completely ignorant of r/d bows.  I'll be watching this with interest!  Josh

I make r/d bows all the time, Pappy. Stay away from the flares and out 6 inches all together. Get the areas I have circled bending more.  Roy

My latest r/d bow, Pappy. This bow has already been tillered out, but before I started tillering it, it had almost as much reflex as your does. Notice at a brace, the outer 2/3rds of the limbs are sort of flat, then even at full draw they are still a little flat compared to what a straight limb bow would look like.. I guess we could call it an elliptical shape.

Your bows reflex, and my bows reflex before I tillered it. My bow does not have the riser section on it yet in the picture.

Here it is on the tree, it's only being pulled to 20 inches here. The outer 1/3rd of the limbs will come around even more as it's pulled down the tree to my draw of 28". But you can see how the reflex of the outer 3rd of the limbs begins to flatten out, that shows that the outer 3rd is working. Now I flip the tips on my bows before glue up, so the last say 9 inches of them will not come around, even at full draw. Please excuse the long gray haired hippie look.. :)

Thanks Roy,I like the look of yours at full draw,I thought that is what I was looking for, just wasn't sure how to get there. Steve it is about 1 3/8 .I wanted more but like I said it was a pretty rough stave and that is all I could get,I was afraid it was going to be a bit un stable but seem to be doing fine in that respect.
I will scrap a little in the next few day and see how it goes. Thanks for the responce. Any more advice welcome. :)

Pappy, you must have a couple beers when tillering a bow. Otherwise it won't come out right.. :)

That is looking pretty sweet.

Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

Got it out to 47@20 1/2 last evening, worked on the areas mentioned,I would work them some and then most of the limb, except for the last 6 or 7 inches at the tip and the area close to the fads. I think it is coming around, yes Mike full draw should be interesting, the early draw weight feel better than anything I have worked with, may be the design or the Yew,not sure.  ;)
