looking to pick up some material over spring break
« on: March 02, 2014, 04:30:16 pm »
So this spring break I will be going down to Corpus Christi making stops in Waco (maybe) and San Antonio, Im not looking for anyone to reveal their spots but if you could give me a general idea as to where to look that would be much appreciated.

Thanks

you could spend a little time in Georgetown looking for construction sites. They usually use crushed rock at the entrances and there is always some good G-town chunks mixed in.

Man I miss the spring break days.......

Sounds like a fun trip Jack, good luck on your rock hunt.

Hey, I saw that little point you made in the shop today.  Want me to start a thread and post a picture of it for you?

Going south out of San Anton'  toward Laredo just past the loop there is a big corn field on the west side of the road that is loaded with some good Perd's. I loaded up about 200# a few years ago in a couple of hours.
