I am happy how this one turned out. When I first started I wasnt impressed with this wood but, the more I worked with it the more I liked it. I removed all the sapwood and chased a ring for the back. The stave was fairly straight but did require a little straightening. It worked down easily to the desired weight. I spent more time sanding and finishing this one than I have in the past and am happy how that turned out. It seems to shoot good but I really havent shot it much. When the weather gets better I will get a better idea how it performs.
