  Anyone have any experience with this? Curious about density and tendency to chrysal or not.

I remember a real nice one. If you search on here you will find it. I tried making one and chased too thin and ruined it but it had crusty wood between rings like osage. I have a tree in the front yard that needs a couple limbs cleaned off of it as soon as the weather permits so will have a round 2 someday.  ;D

I built a KCT bow last fall , went more towards a Molly style bow even though my levers were short , backed with spoonbill skins and copperhead .
I heat treated the belly on mine , changes color when you heat it .

This bow was a trade bow , I did put a lot of arrows through it before it got a new owner , also shot an armadillo with it before I put the skins on.
I was happy with the way it shot and so is the new owner , the draw was longer than my own so it was a bit of a challenge for me to shoot it at its intended draw length .
