Maybe u need to move closer jordo and ya would
There is one thing you need to be careful with these....and I've seen a home made one,and the one that was patented have a problem....but I'm almost positive it was due to too much operator error...there's a ball that allows the plate to swivel and be on angle, and the receiving end of those had cracked n failed....the reason for this is because people are used to a common vice and cranking it as tight as they can...well the physics of this design is more friction held and it doesn't need to be cranked down as tight as a standard bench top vice does..it doesn't take much to hold the wood...and secondly you MUST use a similar height wood wedge to keep the plate parallel and not on a severe angle...if you don't that ball will crush the wall of the receiving end on the plate and the plate will end up coming off eventually...I've had mine for awhile now and have used it properly and its still like new to this day..I take mine to shoots and let others use it as well..I just make sure to educate them on the proper use of one so they don't ignorantly and naively wear that piece of hardware down..so if used right they are a great thing..but that's the key to using them correctly...
