I find photo's deceiving at times for a number of reasons.I make a decision at floor tiller as to the orientation.I like about 1/8" postive tiller so I measure tip height at brace until I'm happy and it always jives with the set the bow has taken.for ex,if the tip height is 6-3/8" on the upper limb then the lower must be 6-1/4".I then unbrace it and measure the set.for ex,if the upper limb has taken 7/8" then the lower must be 3/4"!then I know the bow is balanced.hope this makes sense.
Some like motorboats,I like kayaks, some like guns,I like bows, but not the wheelie type.
