Hackberry Bow Tiller Check
« on: February 22, 2014, 03:28:23 pm »
This is the hackberry bow I've been working on.  Would like your opinion or comment on the tiller at full draw.  I'm not tied to which limb should be the bottom limb at this stage.  The two photos show it both ways at full draw.  The other photo show it at full brace.  Thanks.

Looks really good in both photos, to me maybe a little better in the second picture. At the braced photo the right limb looks like it should be the top to me but that could just be cause I always photo mine with the top limb on the right. :)
Tiller looks great in general to me. I would probably go by feel and accuracy at this point, which ever way it shoots better for you. Nice job and show use more pics of the bow George.
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

I agree with BB on the second...Top limb looks slightly positive in 2nd pic. I tell ya what, shoot it both ways and I guarantee it will feel better one way or the other. Really nice job on the even bend.

I think it looks great. I agree that you should try shooting it both ways, and go with the one that feels right. Looks really good though!

Thanks, guys.  It's 68" ntn, 45# @ 28", 1 5/8" at fades to 1/2" tips.  24 oz. mass.  I've shot it both ways and it's fairly accurate either way.

Nice bow Gaust! As mentioned already, whichever feels best is the best way to flip it.
