Even though Italians aren't an endangered species, I believe they may be protected. Better check with the import/export /game possession laws before you proceed. At the very least , don't tell people that you have been using Italian fur for your string silencers.

Lamb is going to be woollier.
I would guess it is Golden Jackal. Cheap source of fur over there and of a very wide range of color and texture depending on the source. The Golden Jackal is found in every type of environment you can think of.
