simple hackberry
« on: February 19, 2014, 02:03:58 am »
This one's for a friend who just got into archery. He wanted a low poundage-mid-thirties flatbow.
it's 61" nock to nock, 36lbs at 26" (the reason why I'm not drawing the full arrow in the fulldraw pic...my draw is 29")
red oak tip overlays. finished with eurhmm...maybe, ten coats of tung oil?
reflexed the tips a bit but they sort of tillered out. :(

Not bad at all!

You'll notice your fades are a bit stiff. That's part of the reason your reflex left you and cause da bit of mid limb set. But, not bad at all!
