take a few scrapes off the bottom mid/outer limb and youll get rid of the hand shock you do have. looks good though i like that handle style. next time when you heat treat the limbs hold the heat gun a lil further away like 3-4" and only till its a nice brown, take your time and youll notice a huge difference.

Luke,
This is the third bow you posted on here and you are improving every time...Hickory is a love of mine but the dog gone stuff just soaks moisture over a period. I keep mine long and wide and dry to TRY to avoid set. Any way I like your bow and the idea you are continuing to make and post here. Be looking forward to your next.

Nice bow. Hickory is one of my favorites.
I agree with Bowman about taking a few scrapes off that bottom limb.

I agree with Bowman and Pat, do a little work on the bottom limb. Looks like it's bending too abrupt out of the fade to me. Otherwise, looking good. The braced pix looks like it's braced pretty high, where are you there?

Forget what people say about stiff tips/handshock. To make a fast nice shooting bow all you need to do is match the front view width profile and the tiller.
Pyramid - circular. No width taper until the ends - elliptical.
Good job on that bow and keep em coming!

I like it myself. Good job man! I bet that center shot shelf makes her whisper quiet. Ive been tinkering with them lately and like it.

Looks good to me,Hickory makes a great bow, just seal it good and keep it in a dry place when not in use and it will last a life time.
Nice work ,keep um coming.
