Saw table surface

I have recently purchased a new Grizzly bandsaw.  It came with a protective coating on the table to keep it from rusting.  What is the best way to remove that?  I tried WD40 and a rag and it didnt do much.  It may require more elbow grease.

Should say in the setup instructions. I think I used lamp oil  or autobody degreaser.(long time ago)could also call grizzly.

Maybe mineral spirits, alcohol or kerosene.

And use a brillo pad with the mineral spirits, alcohol or kerosene
