This form is a few inches longer than my other Recurve form.
I have a couple of Gary Davis inspired Full Length forms that I built over the past two years.
And while they are Nice, I've found that with my limited work space, they are more hindrance than help.
I find that I have been doing more Free Style/Hand corrections than any other.
Also been using a Narrow Toasting Board as described by Mr. St Louis in his chapter on Heat Treating, to set my reflex profile.
Actually I combined Gary Davis's dimensions with Mr. St Louis's Toasting Board idea to lay out my Toasting Board. Its a single limb form, very Light and Handy.
In any event you can bet that once I get into a Real Shop I'll be building more Forms...
And I have already thought of changes that will make my next Recurve Form work Better...
Flipping one end over should help with the Length Issue.
So Longer IS Better...
