Bow glue?
« on: January 28, 2014, 02:52:40 pm »
What epoxy glue can be purchased from Home Depot or Lowes Hardware that can be used for gluing bows together?  I could not find Smooth-on at either place. If no other glue can be used then I will order some Smooth-on...Thanks

I had no luck locating any epoxy that doesn't come in a small squeeze tube from either or those places...even online.

TiteBond glues(TBI, TBII, TBIII) all work well for bow work and are readily available at local hardware stores. I've glued up lots of hickory and bamboo backed bows with osage, ipe, mulberry and hickory bellies and never had a glue failure.
