« on: January 20, 2014, 07:29:13 am »
Walking through the woods yesterday with two friends of mine. we sat down to eat lunch so i moved a log to use as a seat. when i nearly crushed this!

i looked for the top half and the other jaw but no luck  :-[ but still thought of sharing it. maybe i could make it into a small knife with a flint blade?

And not a whole lot older than 2 years, either.  The crowns of the teeth at not badly worn.

Nice

I found a complete Bear skull once, was a young Bear, and a nearly complete Moose skeleton another time, a young Moose.  I'm pretty sure the Moose was a Bear kill.

I have a yard full of whitetail jaws my dog brings up and plenty of other bones too. You all can come over and take one if you want. Shoot me an email first so I have plenty of refreshments, though.
