Check flea markets, second hand stores, antique stores, etc. Lotsa vintage fur coats end up there since the market for them is pretty poor these days.

I got a buddy that gets scraps (some very large scraps!) from a taxidermist he knows. JW's gotcha on the right track too.

Those creek flossing elitists....probably make you promise to never use barbed arrows and only practice catch and release archery!

I'd have told him to skin your knuckles for the fur, Danzn Bar, but we all know you are a knuckledragger and it wears the hair off!

I have seen rabbit hides with the fur at Hobby Lobby. You might find some at another craft store.

Moscow hide and fur(google it) sells just about anything that comes from an animal but the meat.
Hobby lobby sells rabbit hides for around $8 a hide.
Insane, I can just go find a bunny and have some delicious dinners as well
