I got a little more done this weekend. After a bit of scraping and exercising I got her braced. This isn't the first low brace but is not full brace height...

I marked the string track at the tips...

...and added tip overlays. I went with osage on the bottom and lemonwood on top, glued them with TBIII and rubberband clamps...

After the glue dried I shaped the tips...


Here she is. Not finished yet. I still have to reduce the weight some. I figured she's about 70#@26" now. My next session I'll have her down to 50#-55#@26" where I want her to be. The rubberbands are holding the leather arrow rest on til the glue dries. I'll then shape it to fit my hand.
