looking for horn strips for composite bow
« on: January 08, 2014, 10:24:50 pm »
Im in need of two Horn strips for a composite bow I'm in the process of making. The horn I've bought is no good its too old/cracked. I ordered a set of water Buffalo horns off eBay and they're not good enough either and I'm sick of trying to explain to people what I need that have no earthly clue what a composite bow is! But you guys have come through for me on several occasions in the past I don't know why I wasted my time and money when I should have just come here in the first place. If no horns then any advice on where to get suitable horns would be much appreciated. I've got plenty of eastern red cedar staves, rivercane, hickory, hell I might even trade a bow at this point. Horn strips anywhere from 19-22" long x 1" wide would work. Thanks guys
Chris

The sinew I do have at the moment is going on this composite. Would you be willing to trade for anything else?
