My grandson turns 2 next week so I whipped up some Mocs for him. I'm sure he'll have full of sand spurs in no time.

Have you ever thought about doing a 'turn shoe' style? Sew them inside out, and then turn them back, and your stitched seams disappear. The seam also lasts longer because it's protected from wear.
