Hi all,
I've often read or heard that elm has a tough, interlocked grain, and I've used it successfully in a few bows backed with hickory. I have a few boards left, and they are probably about as good as what I've used in the past, but, do you think these are good enough to use by themselves? I've boosted the contrast way up on this shot, so that the grain and run off shows better. The actual colors are a lot more subtle.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks,
Frode
