TURKEY BOW CHALLENGE
« on: January 06, 2014, 12:53:56 am »
IS any one in for a winter challenge for this spring...i am looking for a few guys who would be into making THERE best bow for turkey season..it would NOT be about trading just making there best gobbler bow...keeping in mind how YOU hunt them...for me it would about brush blinds or just jumping into some cover and or just sitting on my butt...SO,i will have to go short and lighter weight..even keeping in mind the sight of a turkey...i have been wanting to ask this for awhile but thought it might be a dumb idea BUT i really want to see what some people come up with and there ideas on bow making for them..SO,WHO IS IN...thanks john

I'd say you are way ahead in 1st place already with that Pit River yew bow that you posted... ;)
That would be perfect in a blind or just sitting behind a bush on your butt. :)

Cool idea I'm a "run and gun" turkey hunter calling and on the move...wish my bow building speed was up there to take part!
