My new target
« on: January 05, 2014, 12:11:18 pm »
I know I should be shooting at deer or elk and so on but I thought this would be a bit of fun.
I used to play Dungeons and Dragons with my brothers when we were growing up....okay I still play once in a while.  (nerd night!)
I thought it would be fun to shoot a goblin or two.....so I made this.

Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

Never played that but, it looks like a fun target to shoot at.  Better than circles.

very cool art work!i think alot of bow builders have an artistic and musical side.
Some like motorboats,I like kayaks, some like guns,I like bows, but not the wheelie type.

Awesome!  I used to play as well.

Looks almost too good to shoot!  Really good job on the drawing.  Can you do a kobold?  Those were cannon fodder for us (second only to goblins, of course).   >:D
Any critter tastes good with enough butter on it.

RyanR - Thanks! yeah it's pretty fun.  My first shot got him right in the eye...now if only I was aiming at his eye...

bushboy - Thanks!  I think building bows is an art for sure.  Not sure how musical I am but I do like to draw etc.

bowtarist - haha! cool!  my 6 yr old loves it too.  The great thing is that it has gotten her much more motivated to shoot which is a good bonus.

PrimitiveTim-  ;D

Badly Bent - Thanks!  yep.  VERY Nerdy!  but fun!

jackcrafty - Thanks! Oh yeah....stinking kobolds! Maybe I'll do that next.....after we shoot the crap out of this guy!!!  >:D

That's a pretty dang good drawing...from a shooting standpoint there sure are a lot of distinct places to "pick your spot" on it so it should serve you well
