Just wondering if anybody has used artificial sinew for making bow strings  ???
I think they would look pretty nice on a bow  :o

I haven't John but some have, I think they would be very stretchy as artifical sinew is nylon.
I have a bunch of real sinew and want to try a real sinew string, problem is time, not enuf of it.

I was wondering about stretch, i guess i'll have to try it.

I make strings from it. It looks very nice on the bow.  I havent shot it tons but it seems to be workin out nicely.   One strand of artificail sinew is thick. i think it has about 4 little strands in one big one.  It only takes a few strands.
