Thanks again guys.

Thanks so much guys.  It means quite a lot considering the bows in the line-up.  I was so stoked to find out today, that when the sun came out and warmed up the afternoon, I grabbed kingfisher and took her out.  I was looking for cottontails, but instead came back with two very lovely garter snakes of the red-headed phase.  The first one was in the grass and I just swatted him with arrow in hand.  Looking for a match, I spotted this one at the water's edge, made a lucky head shot with the bow and he made no move for the depths.  Kingfisher's first blood  :D

I got the pair pinned down and dried out.  They are going to look very nice on a narrow ELB.

BTW, 2013 was the year of the snake, so this was a fitting first kill

That's awesome man! Congrats :) I can't wait for our season to open here in Tennessee.

Tell us about the hunt! How far was the shot, where was the shot placement etc. etc.
