Very interesting little bow, really nice!  Is my eye playing with games with me or do you have an irregular tiller there?  Is that knock point center, or not?  Differential limbs?

Thanks to all of you for looking and liking!

I got a pic of the belly and a pic of the tiller on the tree. Now that I've been staring at the pic, I think I might scrape the upper limb a tiny bit more.

I also included a clean top down shot for the profile. and added the with and debth measurements.

You can further see the back from up close, cause I wanted to show the gut layer. I'm unhappy with it. I seals off nicely, but does not stick well enough and came up in all the concave parts...  :-\ It also smeared the paint while glueing it on. I'll need to work on the technique, aqs I like the stuff itself.

That's funny!  You're right.
I've got a 48" piece of an exotic wood that grows down here I want to do pretty much the same thing with.  This is a great example.

Now that's a bow.  Great job,  and a contender for BOM.  I love the colors you chose.

Thanks guys! IdahoMAtt: when it comes to mineral pigments I can collect around here, choices get kind of simple. I have a brownish yellow as well, but then that's it.
